EMERGENCY SERVICES
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To develop and maintain an ALL HAZARD EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN to respond to any emergency situations as necessary. To assist in acquiring a Presidential Disaster Declaration in times of natural/man made disasters. Coordinate the recovery of disasters with local, state, and federal agencies, and coordinate hazard mitigation of such events.
Maintain State and Federal Certification through continued education and attendance of all required training. Develop and administer Federal and State Grants to enhance the First Responders response to all Emergency/Hazardous incidents.
REPORTS TO: Marshall County Board of Commissioners and Minnesota Homeland Security Division of Emergency Management.

AG. INSPECTOR
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Plan and implement the County's Noxious Weed control program to ensure that specified weeds are controlled on all land, private and public, in Marshall County.
Provide regulatory seed inspections to ensure the proper sale of ag. seeds and labeling as a service to the ag. based community.
Inspect and regulate the sale of pesticides to ensure proper sales and labeling of chemicals.
Supervise Local Weed Inspectors and assist them in any of their required duties. Maintain a working relationship with Township, City, M.D.A. and F.S.A. officials.
REPORTS TO: Marshall County Board of Commissioners, M.D.A. Regional Inspector, and M.D.A.
